This self-led eLearning course is designed to enhance your skills at your own pace while delivering expert written content and practical knowledge. This option also includes up to 4 hours online with one of our qualified trainers.

The MoP® (Management of Portfolios) certification course offers a framework for organizations to effectively manage their portfolio projects and programmes. Portfolio management focuses on investing in the right change initiatives and projects while tracking their progress and implementation.

  • Understand MoP terminology, the mix of Programmes and Projects within a Portfolio, objectives and benefits of Portfolio Management and cost-effective approaches to Portfolio Management
  • Understand strategic and organisational context including the connection between Portfolio Management, Business Management, and Projects and Programmes
  • Understand the Principles, or good practices underpinning every portfolio
  • Understand the Portfolio Definition cycle and Portfolio Delivery cycles
  • Understand the relevance and applicability of Portfolio roles and documents
  • Have a grasp of the approaches to implementing, sustaining, and measuring portfolio implementation
  • Be able to describe and apply all facets of portfolio management, in accordance with the M0P method
  • Know how to set up and manage an organisational Portfolio, tailoring MoP while ensuring the intent and principles are followed
  • Monitor the Portfolio and make the essential adjustments needed to respond to changes in the business or political environment and the outcomes of projects and programmes
  • Be well prepared for the Foundation and Practitioner Exams
